Keyboard players move and jump with arrow keys. Spacebar fires the gun. Menu picks use arrow keys and enter. Controller fans use a direction pad for movement and jumping. The down pad drops ropes. The X button shoots. A touchscreen only setup lacks extra controls.
The game has fifteen stages in a row. Each map ends at the screen’s right edge. Death drops you back to the start. Health appears at the top left. Coin count sits nearby. Total score shows next to them. Unlocked stages glow green. Cleared stages get a checkmark. You face cyborgs in shades of magenta, green and brown. Each machine attacks in its own style. You shoot them or use a nearby barrel for extra damage. A hit on a rope makes you fall. Boss fights demand a hundred shots. Amber eyes signal a climb up vines. You dodge enemy fire and fire back. Green attacks need you on the highest vine next to the boss. You leap and shoot to avoid hits. Red glare calls for low moves and quick dodges. Blue flashes call for a spot on a vine just under the top. The boss may vanish and send out three green enemies. Defeat them fast to carry on.
